How do I conduct a search?

Click on the search option on the menu bar to conduct a search. You will be able to search our database for other members, filtering by your preferences to find the best matches and the people you want to contact.

How do I search for members by username?

Click on the search option. Within this section there is an option to find a member by username. This option can be used if you remember a member that you were in contact with and want to locate their profile quickly and easily. You must enter at least the first 4 characters of their username, all usernames starting with these letters will be returned for you.

How do I filter my search results?

You can filter basic search results by gender, location, last visit, media and whether they are here for fun or advertising paid services. This means that you can search only for men from Hampshire who have visited within the last week and who are here for fun, for example. This provides you with more accurate and suitable search results.

Can I see all members that have ever joined?

You will be able to see all members who have logged on within the last 3 months. Members who have not visited the site for 3 months or longer will no longer appear in the search results, although they will be able to log in to the site and use all features as normal, at which time they will begin appearing in the search results again. This is to ensure that we deliver relevant, up-to-date profiles to you, and to provide fast results

Can I see myself in search?

Yes. You will appear toward the top of the search results if you are a Premium Member, and as you are currently logged in you will appear high up anyway. Alternatively you can do a username search for your profile, to see your ad as other members do.

What does the Search by country button do?

Use the search by country button if you wish to search all areas of the selected county. This is a broad search all will bring back results from all over your selected country. Just change your option in the drop down menu and select search by country if you wish to search within another country. Your search will default to the country you specified as your location when you joined.

What is `search by area`?

You can search within a given area of selected countries. Smaller countries may not provide you with an area search option, due to country size and/or member number from this location. To select your area, choose an option from the drop down list and click `search by area`. To search an area within a different country, first select your country from the country drop down, and follow the text prompt, clicking to display the relevant area list for that country. Click the `search my area` button to show members within that area.

Can I filter to search by my county?

Selected areas will allow you to search within your county, for instance within the UK. Follow the drop down lists in order, making sure that you select the appropriate country and area first, following the text prompt to display the correct list of counties within your area. Click on the `Search by county` to display theses results. These results are filtered down to a very targeted search so you may only see a few search results for smaller locations. Please be aware that the county search is not available for all countries and areas.

How can I appear higher in the searches?

Premium Members feature at the top of the search results and are seen more often by more members. Members who have media on their profiles are also searched for much more often. To appear more often you may like to upload photos and video to your profile.

What is the advanced search option?

The advanced search option allows you to filter by even more factors, if you wish to do a very targeted search. For instance, you may like to filter using aspects of physical appearance as a filter. You will be able to filter by any of the elements that you selected when you joined.
