In last week's article,
I talked discussed "Planning the Perfect Swingers' Party Part 2".
This week, I'm going to focus on planning the perfect Swingers' party part 3.
Last week we went through the swingers' party setup with how to arrange the
rooms and a few fun things you can do to keep your party lively. This week,
I want to focus on some of the other aspects, such as attire and rules of engagement.
Many of these things will seem common sense but it is always a good idea to
state them anyhow. After all, you will have some newbie swingers as well as
some experienced attending your party.
What to Wear: If you have never attended a swingers party
before, you may have some ideas of what people wear at a party or even if they
wear anything. Most of the parties that I have attended the people didn't
run around nude. It was made clear that the attire to be worn when you are not
engaged in a sexual situation was as follows. Then men at the party had to wear
robes or boxers or something along those lines. I wouldn't suggest to
you guys that you show up in "whitey tighties". Silk boxers and robes
are the norm. For the ladies, lingerie is always a crowd pleaser, the sexier
the better in this case. Just wear something you are comfortable and sexy in
and not something that is full of holes or offensive.
Rules of Engagement: When planning a party, these rules may
seem obvious but none-the-less should be stated in the invitation. We have already
covered the attire portion of this so I will move on to the others. Respect
is a must. Stress in your rules that respecting others privacy and being respectful
of others is not an option. That NO means NO.
Drinking: If you are serving or allowing alcohol to be consumed
at your party. You should make it clear that all guests are expected to maintain
and even keel when drinking. Let them know that if they appear to be to drunk
that they will be asked to leave the party. Since you are the host of the party
and if there is going to be alcohol, you will need to make sure that everyone
is of legal drinking age.
Drugs: Now this may seem obvious but needs to be stated anyhow.
No drugs whatsoever should be at your party. This is not only illegal but will
cause many of your guests to leave.
Safe Sex: Make sure to require all your guests to use protection
while engaged in sexual activity. Let them know if you have protection available
for guests who may have forgotten to bring it. Let your guests know where to
dispose of used protection as well and not to just toss it on the floor (GROSS)
Voyeurs: You will have some guests attend your swingers'
party that will only want to watch and meet people. There is nothing wrong with
that. However, you should make it clear that anyone who does this should ask
the acting couple or group if it is ok that they do so. Also, you shouldn't
allow cameras to be allowed into the party. I would suggest that if people want
pictures taken that you put someone in charge of taking pictures of those consenting.
I received a lot of email after lasts weeks question and answer section. Thank
you! I love all the positive feedback that is coming, keep it coming! Now onto
this weeks question:
Q: Dear Silvia, My husband and I are looking to experiment
with new situations in our sex life, we have had threesomes, swapped with couples
and have been to a couple of swingers clubs, any suggestions on anything new
and kinky?
A: Great Question! Thanks for the question Joan! I think it's
great that you and your husband have enjoyed the lifestyle. As for something
new, I'm not really sure on that, though there is something that is a
new trend within the community. It started to take off early last year and that
is "swingers
dogging". This does not involve animals. The term dogging originated
in the early Seventies to describe men who spied on couples having sex outdoors.
But within the community, it is swingers having sex outdoors while others watch.
I will go more in-depth with this next week.
Make sure to check me out next week when we discuss swingers dogging! If you
have a question that you'd like answered, send me an email at Silvia at playpartner.com,
until then happy Swinging!
