The second show of the new hit series Swingtown aired last night on CBS. In last nights episode, the newbie swinger couple has time to reflect on their new lifestyle. If you watched the first show, then you already know they explored the experience of swapping partners for sexual fun.

On last nights show, the couple has time to reflect on the experience and find themselves in a new place within their relationship. The wife begins to find herself with some inner turmoil, that being that the thought that her husband wanted other women or that he wasn’t happy with her sexually. The husband doesn’t seem to share the same turmoil as his wife but as the show progresses, he reassures her that she is his one and only love and that swinging is only an added benefit of their relationship

I think this brings out an important point with the swingers lifestyle, that how swingers couples view the first encounter. As studies have shown, women are more geared towards feelings of sharing their husband with another woman. It shows how important it is to communicate with your significant other about your relationship and experiences. Men on the other hand, can compartmentalize the experience, keeping it purely sexual with no other attachments.

I think the show swingtown is not only entertaining but blends the real life swinger experience to a new light. Guys, if you are watching this show, take notes!
